Chef Edgar Caro, a Cartagena native, brings the bold flavors of coastal Colombia to New Orleans at Baru Latin Caribbean Bistro & Tapas. Inspired by his roots and early days in his abuelo’s butcher shop, Caro opened Baru in 2006 and earned the title of Best Latin American Restaurant in New Orleans for ten straight years.
